Tatiana Mesa Paján
Tatiana Mesa Paján (b. 1981, Havana, Cuba) is a process-based artist exploring memory, displacement, belonging, and the poetics of everyday gestures through performance, installation, printmaking, artist books, and prose. Informed by Afro-Cuban cosmologies, Indigenous Caribbean relationships with nature, and Western collecting traditions, she creates intentionally incomplete archives that ask: What is a human? Mesa holds an MFA from the University of South Florida, where she currently teaches printmaking.
