Harriet Finck

After some years as an architect, Harriet turned to making collage and paintings, as well as teaching. Scraps and fragments of her own work became repetitive marks on a page, which sometimes became Hebrew words. She calls her work, which is mostly acrylic on paper, "organic abstraction", where tiny marks become swarms, and geologic, astronomic and cellular images are influential. But so are quilts, landscapes and still lifes. Follow Harriet on Instagram @harfinn.
