Willow Wells Becerra

Wells–Becerra uses painting, drawing, printmaking, and animation to reinforce the importance of our bodies' relationship to our environment. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, where she studied the figure as well as traditional techniques. She then received her Master of Fine Arts from the University of South Florida. There, she began employing concepts of metamorphosis in her work, resulting in figures merging with botanical elements. Her work has been exhibited in several museum shows and is part of permanent collections. @willows_wells on Instagram.
