This photogravure documents a poetic gesture: changing a partial or entire surface using soft materials—transforming its skin. My own hands change as they cover the object, like a snake’s skin shedding onto things that will continue to shed. Once the dandelion layer is complete, rubbing becomes impossible. It is about hard things, like stones, that can never be touched again.

This is a signed edition of 30.
