This object intervention documents a poetic gesture: to cover porcelain objects no bigger than 11 inches with dandelions. My own hands change as they cover the objects, like a snake’s skin shedding onto things that will continue to shed. Once the dandelion layer is complete, rubbing becomes impossible. It is about hard things, like porcelain and stones, that can never be touched again. The objects are preserved inside glass domes with marble bases.

Please note that the Dandelion Skin Series are open edition. Each is individually produced as an intervention on a found object. Amor (pictured) is an example in the series, not what you will receive.

Care:

Handle with care. Do not open the glass dome or touch the porcelain figurine. Keep the piece away from extreme changes in temperature or humidity.
Fragile: When moving the piece, always hold it by the marble base, never by the glass dome, even though the dome and base are securely attached. This will help prevent accidents or damage.

All sales are final. Because each piece is handmade, we don't offer standard returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse or change of mind.

If your piece arrives damaged or lost in transit All items are insured during shipment. If your piece arrives damaged, contact us at info@kiramika.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and the original packaging. If your piece never arrives and the carrier confirms it as lost in transit, contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date. Claims submitted without photos, or after the 48-hour window, may not be eligible.
For pickup orders, please inspect your piece at the time of pickup. We're unable to accept damage claims after pickup.
Depending on the artist, you'll receive either a refund or a replacement piece; availability may vary by artist and item. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, and processing times may vary.

If your piece is materially different from its listing Handmade work naturally varies piece to piece, so minor differences in glaze, color, or shape aren't considered a material difference. If your piece is materially different from its listing, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Depending on the artist, we'll arrange either a refund (less the cost of return shipping and insurance) or a replacement once the original piece is returned.

If your package shows as delivered but you didn't receive it Contact us at info@kiramika.com within 48 hours of the delivery confirmation. We'll file an insurance claim. A refund or replacement is issued only if Kiramika determines the claim is valid and the insurer approves it. If either does not happen, no refund or replacement is issued.

Shipping address errors We're not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout. Reshipment fees may apply.

Gifts If your piece was purchased as a gift, any claim must be initiated by the original purchaser.

Order cancellations Ready-made items can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. Made-to-order pieces cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

Ready-made items Ready-made pieces typically ship within 1–2 weeks of purchase and arrive within 2–3 weeks of your order date. Timing may vary by piece; check the item description for specifics.

Made-to-order items Lead times vary by artist, from about 2 weeks to several months. Review the item description before ordering. We'll follow up after your order is placed with a delivery estimate, and again once your piece is complete and ready to ship.

Tracking You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

Pickup Pickup availability varies by artist and item; check the item description. If you'd like to pick up your order, select the pickup option both when adding it to your cart and at checkout. The artist will reach out to arrange a time.
We're not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers. Once a carrier confirms delivery, we'll file a claim if your package is lost or stolen. A refund or replacement requires both Kiramika's approval and the insurer's approval. See our Return & Exchange Policy to report it. We recommend a secure delivery location or signature confirmation for higher-value pieces.
